My name is Viola Satkova Vavrusova. I am a general dental practitioner at Bloomfield Dental Studio. I was born in Slovakia and I studied dentistry in Bratislava where I graduated in 2006 with MUDr. degree.
I obtained further postgraduate education in restorative and prosthetic dentistry and general oral surgery.
I worked in family owned private practice for 4 years but I was always tempted to live and work abroad to experience different lifestyle, to gain new professional skills and techniques and to improve language skills. I ended up in this beautiful and friendly city of Belfast where I live since January 2011.
This job requires constant education and improvement of skills which I am obtaining by attending various courses.
My goal is to make my patients feel relaxed and comfortable during dental treatments and to see them leaving them happy. None of this would be possible without our great supportive team of dental assistants and receptionist who contribute to daily satisfaction of our patients.
I have a special interest in dentures made from various high quality materials including flexible nylon dentures. I also carry out teeth removals of moderate difficulty.
In my spare time I enjoy being with my family, playing piano, reading books and singing in choir.
I am very happy to be a part of our fabulous team for so many years and I look forward to continuing to do so.
In 2012, I passed my MJDF exams with the Royal College of Surgeons, which has helped me build upon my undergraduate knowledge. I’ve also attended several courses to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies in dentistry, and to further hone my skills.
I’m passionate about helping my patients achieve healthy, beautiful smiles, and I’m always looking for ways to improve the care that I provide. When I’m not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, caravanning, and walking our dog.
I qualified from Cardiff University in 2017 and have enjoyed practising dentistry ever since. I have been fortunate enough to work in many locations across England and Wales. Most recently, I spent a year working and travelling in Australia. When I’m not at work I enjoy being outdoors and following a variety of sports.
